This year has seen the debut of quite a few hit indie artists. The RedTide Rats is yet another unique act whose 'I Got Your Message' has created quite a few ripple. Our personal favorite off the album is 'UNhappy'

We sat down with her so she could answer a few questions I'm sure we all have.

Q. What's the story behind your name?

Ans. It's not that deep. I just liked how it sounded and the imagery it creates in the eye.

Q. You just debuted your first ever album and the music video for 'I Got Your Message' git quite a bit if attention. What made you choose this song as the title track?

Ans. Well, I felt that this song brought together various elements and sounds in the album. By promoting this track, listeners will get a good feel for the kind of music I'm making and what they can expect from the album.

Q. What are some of your favorite tracks on the album?

Ans. I have alot of affection for 'I Got Your Message' especially since it took the longest to record since I kept tweaking it. It had to be perfect. But I also adore 'Rat Men' and 'Riverside Blues'.

Q. What's next?

Ans. I have a few live shows lined up. There are also some ideas for my next album I can't wait to play around with
